For Canada's self-employed and side earners · outside Québec
Your T2125 and GST/HST, ready before tax season.
Download your bank's CSV or QFX file and drop it in. Confirm what each line is once per merchant — Veralyt remembers it, adds everything up on the right CRA lines, works out your GST/HST return, and hands you or your accountant a filing-ready package. No bank login shared.
You confirm every number · Every total links to its transactions · Veralyt does not file tax returns

Why self-employed taxes go wrong
- Digital platforms such as rideshare, rental and marketplace apps now report their sellers' income to CRA. CRA reporting rules for digital platforms
- In the Auditor General's 2025 test calls, CRA call-centre agents answered general individual-tax questions accurately only 17% of the time. Office of the Auditor General of Canada (Oct 2025)
What you get
Built on CRA's own rules for the T2125 and the GST/HST return, with the figures CRA publishes each year.
Import from any Canadian bank
CSV, QFX or OFX from your bank or credit card. Lines you already imported are skipped automatically, even from a different file format.
Review once per merchant
Say what a merchant is one time; Veralyt suggests the same next time. Nothing counts until you confirm it, and every change is logged.
A T2125 you can trace
Every line opens to the transactions behind it. Meals count at 50%. You add home office, vehicle kilometres and capital cost allowance (CCA) once a year.
GST/HST, line by line
The return's lines from what you recorded, input tax credits only from tax you entered, the $30,000 registration test, and a Quick Method comparison in Ontario.
Know what you'll owe
Federal and provincial tax (Ontario, BC and Alberta) plus CPP on your business, across all your tax files, before the April 30 deadline.
Rentals and corporations
Rental property on a T776. On the Business plan, corporation books (GIFI) for your accountant.
Receipts read for you
Pro: photograph a receipt or forward the email; it's read, matched to its bank line and kept with your records. PDF statements are checked against their balances.
Hand-off ready
Pro: download an accountant package (form, GST/HST return, estimate, full ledger) or send your accountant a read-only link. Lock the year after you file.
Reminders and answers
Email reminders before GST/HST, instalment and filing deadlines. Pro: ask questions, answered from CRA pages and your own numbers.
How it works
Veralyt prepares and explains. You file with any NETFILE-certified tax software, or hand the package to your accountant.
Export
Download your transactions as CSV or QFX from online banking.
Import
Drop the file in. Preview it before anything is saved; duplicates are skipped.
Confirm
Say what each merchant is. Add home office, kilometres and CCA once a year.
File
Enter the lines in certified tax software, or send the package to your accountant.
Real CRA line numbers, not loose categories
Your accountant sees the same lines they type into the return. Each amount carries its line number and the transactions that make it up.
